Next Meeting

This was the last meeting of the semester. The next LPH meeting will be announced at a later date, and it will probably be within the first two weeks of the next semester.

Elections

Jenny and Bekah will be graduating December 19th, leaving two officer positions vacant (secretary and treasurer). Jessie Noblin will be the new secretary in Spring, but we still need to find someone to be the new treasurer. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for this position, make sure you come to the first meeting next semester.

Treasures for Troops

Our service project has come to an end because the Department of Defense has said no more packages will be accepted from civilians for soldiers in Iraq. We are looking for someone in the reserves who can send everything overseas to their own unit. We would like to start packaging items during the week of January 10th-16th. Jessie is getting materials for packaging from Mailboxes Etc. Helping package supplies will count as service hours.

Finals Coffee Break

Flyers for the Coffee Break will be circulating around campus next week. The Honors program has donated $50 and all of the snacks have been ordered. The Coffee Break will be in the Library on Wednesday, December 15th and Tuesday, December 21st from 9-10 p.m. Chris and Ka volunteered for Wednesday and Chris and Jill volunteered for Tuesday.
