12.1.03 MEETING MINUTES
I. ALUMNI EVENT
The Alumni Event will be held Friday, December 5, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm,
at the Radisson in Pleasant Prairie. So far, there will be six alumni
in attendance talking about their job experiences post-college. The admission
is $2 for students, and $3 if you purchase two tickets. Tickets may be
purchased at the door. Please check the PAC website for directions to
the event:

II. DONATION
LPH will be donating $50 to another honors society on campus, Phi Eta
Sigma. This organization will be hosting a "Finals Break" on
December 16 and 18 for students who need a break from the pressure of
finals. They will be serving all sorts of snacks to alleviate some of
the stress all students feel at this time of the semester.
III. POSSIBLE FIELD TRIP FOR FALL 2004
The National Communication Association (NCA) will be hosting a convention
in Chicago next fall. This could be a possible field trip for LPH. Stay
tuned for further details.
IV. CHANCELLOR'S EVENT
On Wednesday, December 10, the Chancellor will be hosting an event where
student organizations will be putting an ornament on his tree to represent
their organizations. Wendy has purchased a red, white, and gold ornament
to represent LPH's red and white cord for service, and their gold cords
as well. The event will take place in the Chancellor's house from 3 p.m.
to 5:30 p.m. Please feel free to join in the event and represent LPH.
V. ELECTIONS AND WORKSHOP
Our next and final meeting for this semester will be on Monday, December
15, at noon. Luke Andersen and Ray Swanson will be doing a workshop on
eFolios for the first 30 minutes of the meeting. The last 20 minutes will
be reserved for LPH Officer elections. All positions (President, Vice
President, Treasurer, and Secretary) are open. If for some reason you
cannot attend this meeting but wish to be nominated for a position, please
email Wendy so that she may nominate you in your absence. Please join
us to run for a position, and to elect the appropriate members to represent
the Gamma Pi Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta.
Respectfully Submitted,
Kathryn Seamans, Secretary
