LPH Minutes 3/20/07

Spring Celebration:
Jamie is going to circulate the script for the initiation ceremony (to be held as part of the Spring Celebration on 4/22) for the officers to take a look at. If anyone wants to take away or add to it then you will need to let her know. The programs will be color on the front and back pages. The inside of the program will be black and white to save money. The theme for this year’s celebration is going to be: changes (and the visual image for it is a caterpillar turning into a butterfly). PAC will give their annual wards to graduating seniors. The deadline that they have to get the names on the ballots is April 5. A representative will come to both classes of senior seminar on April 10th and have students choose their senior for each category. Jamie is going to send emails to Professor Castor about contacting students who completed internships in 06-07 so they get into the program and know to come, also Professor Shailor about the conflict and resolution certificate students, and to the whole faculty to see about the interest in writing up descriptions of the graduating seniors. Invitations are already circulating. Please bring your family, and friends. You will need to R.S.V.P. to Jaime by March 29. 2007 by 11:11 a.m. There will be a cover charge of $5.00 for the meal that you will receive. Remember that this celebration will take place on April 22, 2007, 1-3, in Mid-Main Place.

Hunger Clean Up
LPH is still interested in participating with this. The date for Hunger Clean Up will be Saturday April 21, 2007. We will have to meet at 8:00a.m. at Parkside. Also sign up sheets for organizations will be on the bridge starting next week.

Volunteer Cords/Hours:
Remember if you are graduating and receiving your volunteer cord to keep track of your hours and have them signed by the place you do service for. Also make sure that an officer signs off on the form before giving it to Wendy.

Brewers Game:
For all of you who are interested in going to a game, there is a game on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 7:05p.m. Prices are being found out by Michael of PAC. We were thinking of car pooling so not too many people would have to worry about paying for parking.
