3.24.03 Minutes

I. STUDENT CELEBRATION
Don't forget to mark your calendars for Sunday, April 13. The food will be served at 6pm with awards to follow at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7/person. Your friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend this event. Roz Leppington and Fay Akindes are in charge of the music for the evening, and have arranged for a band.

II. ALUMNI EVENT
Please think about issues that you would like discussed during the panel on Friday, April 18. Alumni will be available to answer any questions you have about job hunting, interviewing, and landing a job. You may be interested in learning some interview tips, finding good job search websites, or even curious about how many jobs they've had since graduation.

III. FIELD TRIP
Some adjustments have been made to the schedule of events for Friday, April 4. There will not be a Harley-Davidson tour because of time conflicts. Therefore, after leaving Parkside, there will be dinner
at African Hut. Following will be the events at the Rep.

IV. RESUME WORKSHOP
Please try to attend on Monday, March 31 at noon in CA 143. Martha Nicks will offer expertise advice on how to achieve full potential with your resume. Bring a copy of your resume so you can receive personal feedback.

V. MENTOR PROJECT
Luke, Pam, Megan, and Rebecca are planning to go into the COMM 107 & 108 classrooms this week to encourage willing students to seek out LPH mentors. Since advising begins March 31, we need to get to them as soon as possible.
