MEETING MINUTES 3.3.04

I. Workshop(s)
§ Internship is on Wednesday, May 05, 2004 at noon location: TBA
§ E-folio is scheduled for Monday, May 07, 2004 at 10am location: TBA
§ Kathryn has received the workshop questionnaire e-mail from LPH member Salimah, she will then forward to all communication professors and LPH members.
§ Note: We are still accepting ideas for more workshops for this semester.

II. Fundraiser(s)
§ Pie-throwing contest: Discussed the feedback we received, and decided this will no longer take place anymore due to the many objections.
§ Easter Bake Sale in Main Place from 10am - 2pm, Wednesday, April 07, 2004.
o If you would like to volunteer to work at the table, please contact one of the officers or Wendy.
*note* if you buy/bake/bring something for the bake sale, you will be given one hour towards your service cords. Hours worked will also be counted towards service cords, but do not forget to get your card signed after working or bringing something.
§ Other possible fundraisers are in thought/planning process, if you have any suggestions, please feel free to stop by our next meeting, contact an officer/adviser, or e-mail Wendy.

III. Social(s)
§ Rink Side Sports for either April 17 or 18 (Saturday or Sunday) (co-sponsoring w/PAC)
o $12 per person which include ice skating, lazer tag, cheese pizza, drink, and a $5 game card.
o All LPH members, communication majors/minors/pending are welcomed as well as faculty. Each person can bring someone along as well. More info will be posted after the next meeting.

IV. Announcement(s)
§ Phi Eta Sigma is proposing for either a $25 donation or volunteers for their annually semester Final Break Coffee & Snacks for students. Not too sure yet, but more info given at a later date.
§ Spring Student Celebration is being held on Sunday, April 25, 2004 at 1pm in the Union Square, 1 pm.
*ATTN: New member initiation will also be a part of this event, so please attend. You will also be given the chance to meet more Communication majors/minors/faculty as well as LPH members.

§ Our next meeting will be held on March 24, 2004 at noon in CART 133.
