Meeting Minutes

Thursday, April 29, 2010

Present:
Stephanie Gemino (Vice President), Ashley Bardwell (Secretary), Abby Swatek, Dave Wooten, Jordan Woiteshek, Charlie Erdall

(Since Camilla was on the way to the UWS Undergraduate Research Conference, Stephanie ran the meeting in her stead.)

Stephanie opened the floor for nominations for all officers for next academic year (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer). Nominated were:

President: Dave Wooten
Vice President: Jordan Woiteshek
Secretary: Kathryn Evans
Treasurer: Camilla Simon and Greg Teuton

Candidates for President and Vice President and Secretary were elected by acclamation. Those present voted by paper ballot for Treasurer. There will be an absentee ballot for those who could not attend. Send your vote for Treasurer (either Camilla or Greg) to Stephanie Gemino by May 3 at 11:59 pm.

All Communication majors and minors are invited to an end of year celebration and potluck on May 29 at 1:00. The event will be co-sponsored by LPH, PCAA, the Communication Department, and probably PAC (which meets next week, so hasn't had a chance to consider co-sponsorship yet). The location will probably be a spot in Petrifying Springs Park - check your email for further information. Stephanie (as LPH VP) and Kim Wright-Wooten (as PCAA VP) are the primary organizers.
