“Class sizes are small at Parkside so you get to know your instructors and faculty. As an undergrad I’ve been able to participate in independent research with my professors, and intern at the CCP (Center for Community Partnerships). After being away from school and the job market for 10 years while raising children, these real life projects have helped me build my confidence and make connections in the community. I’d like to work in a non-profit organization after graduation. I want a job with a mission that helps society.”
