Michelle knew that she wanted to play soccer in college and she knew the UW-Parkside women's soccer program was top-notch. Chalk one up for the Rangers, the only NCAA Division II university in Wisconsin.

Michelle didn't want to be too far from her home in Aurora, Ill. UW-Parkside scores again: The campus is just a little over an hour away. And she wanted a smaller school with smaller class sizes. Game over!

"I really enjoyed my first year at UW-Parkside," Michelle says. "I like the sense of community that you get living on campus. And all the professors have been very helpful."

Michelle describes UW-Parkside as a great learning community where you can meet new people, attend classes where your professors know who you are, and have fun. Now that's a winning combination.
