The entire Biology and Chemistry Departments at Parkside are phenomenal especially the Pre-Professional Advisors!
Parkside has excellent professors! The faculty and staff are here to get to know you and help you succeed in whatever your chosen career. Parkside has such a warm inviting atmosphere that will make you feel at home in a great university.
I initially wanted to go one of the big ten schools but after many college visits I felt a disconnect between the students and the school. I did not want to sit in a lecture hall of 500 students my freshman year. That's when I stumbled across Parkside at my high school's college fair. Parkside was a wonderful institution where I could have small class sizes and still receive a great education. Parkside can offer you all the tools you need to succeed.
Make new friends and get new experiences out of college. Even though 4 years seems like a long time, it flies by so fast. Enjoy your time at college and get the most you can out of your education; seek ways to expand your learning inside and outside of the classroom. Take GenEd's that you want to learn more about or are interested in. Attend Parkside's sporting events! Challenge yourself and your college experience will be all the more rewarding for it.
