October 22, 5:00, CA 233: Discussion of service project guidelines (mentoring new or pending majors). (If you could not come to the workshop, but are interested in participating in the service project, see Wendy Leeds-Hurwitz for a few names of new majors to mentor.)

November 1, 1:00: Field trip to Miller Brewing in Milwaukee to meet with a representative of Human Relations and have a tour, followed by dinner at Bangkok Orchid. Meet in the CA parking lot, at the bus stop, at 1:00.

November 5, 3:30, CA 233: Workshop on writing resumes, by Wendy Leeds-Hurwitz.

November 20, 12:00, CA 141: Workshop on writing resumes, by Wendy Leeds-Hurwitz. (If you could not come to either resume workshop, give a copy of your resume to Wendy for individual critique.)

December 3, 5:00, CA 233: Workshop on electronic portfolios by Jennifer Ranker, with help from Allison Fisher and Ray Swanson (all of whom are preparing electronic portfolios this fall). This workshop will provide enough information for you to decide if preparing an electronic portfolio for either Comm 494: Internship, or Comm 495: Senior Seminar is appropriate for you.
