Spring 2004 Events  

Next meeting: Wednesday, March 24, at 12, in CA 133. This is our regular meeting day, time, and room. We generally meet every other week, but check each meeting's minutes for the next scheduled meeting.

Main order of business: working on events for the semester.

Bake Sale:
10am - 2pm, Wednesday, April 07, 2004.
o If you would like to volunteer to work at the table, please contact one of the officers or Wendy.
*note* if you buy/bake/bring something for the bake sale, you will be given one hour towards your service cords. Hours worked will also be counted towards service cords, but do not forget to get your card signed after working or bringing something.

Social event:
Rink Side Sports on April 17 (Saturday ) at 5 pm-- until we're tired.
o $12 per person, which includes ice skating, lazer tag, cheese pizza, drink, and a $5 video game card.
o All LPH members, communication majors/minors/pending are welcome as well as faculty. Each person can bring one or more friends along as well.

Student Celebration:
o April 25 (Sunday), 1:00, Union Square
o Lambda Pi Eta initiation will be part of the event - be sure to come!!
o Other students who will be honored include all graduating seniors; students earning the Conflict Analysis and Resolution certificate; all students completing internships; all students preparing electronic portfolios; and students winning a wide variety of awards from PAC, the faculty, and the university.

Workshops:
o Internship workshop, Wednesday, May 05, 2004 at noon; location TBA
o E-folio is scheduled for Monday, May 07, 2004 at 10am; CA 135
All seniors in section 1 of Comm 495 will be presenting their electronic portfolios, which have been prepared on Powerpoint.
