President Nicholas L. Honeck opened the meeting by thanking everyone for their attendance and asked all to introduce themselves.
In attendance: Terrance Shaw, Janee Kazee, Jasmine Harris, Lorrie Saylor, Karleen Vanderhoef, Miguel Escobado, Paul Glysz, Kim Wright-Wooten, Courtney Pucin, Nick Honeck; Wendy Leeds-Hurwitz as advisor.
Wendy gave the financial report in the place of the Treasurer.
Nick talked about forming a committee on either Mentoring or Networking and opened the floor to discussion
The group resolved to focus on Networking and then began planning an event for October 2008 that would incorporate alumni, professionals and current UWP communication students.
PCAA Members took roles within this event planning committee, as follows:
Lorrie Saylor (Location)
Karleen Vanderhoef (On Campus Event Publicity)
Kim Wright-Wooten (Event Schedule/Liason) and
Miguel Escobedo (Design).
