At first I thought that the “sorority” thing wasn’t for me because of all the negative stereotypes that went along with sororities. But after doing some research and traveling to New York to research I soon changed my mind and found Gamma Alpha Omega. I chose GAO because of everything it stands for, the fact that the chapters I knew of dealt with the youth, it was a younger organization back in 2000 and I knew that I could contribute many of my ideas and energy to, and that it’d give me a support system that I could leave behind for my younger siblings, cousins and now daughter.
What
has Gamma Alpha Omega done for you?
Gamma Alpha Omega has brought out allllll of my leadership abilities,
given me a chance to meet sooooo many wonderful ladies, givin me a better
connection with the surrounding communities and a new family.
Interests, Hobbies or Goals?
I love to travel., I love to dance to almost anything, I also love to
work on our GAO internet site. My goals consist of going on for my masters,
purchasing a house, and eventually applying for our GAO National Executive
Committee
Fondest GAO Memory?
Hmmm, there’s just sooo many!!!! My fondest memory was probably
when my youngest sister Lala Crossed this summer!!!! I was very excited
and overjoyed.
