Why did you join Gamma Alpha Omega?

I joined Gamma Alpha Omega because I go to know some of the ladies that were members at the time and they made me feel very welcomed and encourged me to with hang-out with them or help out during service events they were going to do. I truely felt that they wanted to be my friend regardless whether I joined Gamma or not. I also, LOVED the fact that the ladies were involved EVERYWHERE not only on campus but in there home towns too. They were really known and well respected.

What has Gamma Alpha Omega done for you?

Gamma Alpha Omega has truely done alot for me. It has helped me become the woman I am now. I am more confident and have truely come out of my shell, which have surprised alot of people. I get alot of support, advice, and love from all of my sisters. I know that I can always count on them for anything. I LOVE all of my sisters to death and can truely say that Gamma Alpha Omega has become a second family to me.

Goals: My goals are to double major in nursing and spanish and to graduate in the year 2008 or maybe even sooner. I also, would like to someday be on the executive board for Gamma Alpha Omega an represent my chapter to the fullest.

Interests & Hobbies: I LOVE to dance and hang out with my friends. I am really into crafty things and scrapbooking and does shoping count??? ha because I LOVE to shop that's why I'm always broke!!

Fondest GAO Memory?
My first mother/daughter banquet with all of my sisters and we had circle time to introduce all of ourselves and say a few things. I was so nervous for my mom because she doesn't know that much english, but all of my sisters made her feel very comfortable and she got up and was a stragiht soldier and sat me down! I loved that my mom was able to meet all of the ladies and thier mother's and got to see alittle bit of what we are all about.
