Why did you join Gamma Alpha Omega?

I joined Gamma Alpha Omega because of their dedication and commitment to the community and youth. My initial encounter with GAO was when my two daughters became a part of the GAMMA pals program. All the GAO Ladies took a valued interest in my daughter’s academics as well as their athletics. I was very impressed when the GAO Ladies would come to my daughters’ games to show support. I felt a strong bond with the GAO Ladies and admired their passion for what they believed in - Gamma Alpha Omega. It was then that I knew Gamma Alpha Omega was the right organization for me.

What has Gamma Alpha Omega done for you?

Gamma Alpha Omega has given me the bond of sisterhood. I hold this dear and true to my heart. Being an only child growing up, I only knew what it was like to have cousins or best friends. GAO has blessed me with sisters that I know I can depend on ALL THE TIME. I respect all my sisters and am blessed to have them in my life; now and forever.

Goals: My education goal is to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and use my degree to advance within my current employer.

Interests & Hobbies: My main interest is watching my daughter’s sports activities; volleyball and basketball. In addition, I enjoy swimming, bowling and playing softball in the summer. I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics and if any of my sisters anywhere need product – please contact me and I will beautify U.

Fondest GAO Memory?
One fond memory I have is with Feisty and Corazón. During a fundraiser for my daughter’s 8the grade class trip, Feisty made beautiful signs and helped organize all the items for the rummage sale. Because Corazón is such a neat freak with clothes, she had such patience with folding every t-shirt and sweater, so that on that particular day – we SOLD more clothes because of how pretty she made everything look.

Another fond memory I have is at the Gamma Pals car wash. It was so nice to see the GAO Ladies, Moms and pals working together and having fun!

I know there are more fond memories to come...looking forward to them all!
