Why did you join Gamma
Alpha Omega?
I joined Gamma Alpha Omega because I
was seeking a sisterhood that would last a life time. I was looking for
a bit of support since I was the only girl in my family, and I always wondered
what it would be to have sisters. Also, I enjoy and love how the sorority
is about mentoring the youth and doing community service.
What
has Gamma Alpha Omega done for you?
Gamma has done plenty for me. Gamma has given me many sisters which I
admire, look up to for comfort, advice, or just spend time with them,
but it is not limited to this. Gamma has brought out the extrovert in
me; Gamma has given me, myself, a new beginning.
Goals?
As for my goals, I hope to graduate from UW-Parkside, and from there attend
Physician Assistant school either close to home or far away. I enjoy helping
people, and would love working and specializing in obstetrics/neonatal
care. I believe it is a beautiful thing bringing a new baby into this
world.
Interests,
Hobbies?
Hanging out with my family, going to church, having nights out with my
sisters/friends, dancing, trying out new things especially if it's spontaneous,
READING, cooking new things, learning new things
Fondest GAO Memory?
My "2nd" fondest GAO Memory ;^) was when I crossed. I was told
I had crossed yet I didn't believe it. It took me days, even weeks to
let it sink in.
Personal Quote: - 1 Corinthians 12:31 - 13:13
- "People are
often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives; Be
kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank
anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build
anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, people may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the
world your best anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never
between you and them anyway." -Mother Teresa
