Josh Santiago ~ Please understand the importance of passing the budget. We have only a few weeks and if a budget cannot be passed, last years budget will be reused for this year. This would be detrimental to every org and entity dependant on SUFAC funds. The orgs have already had a chance to review the budget and appeal. We need only to pass or send back. Please take the time to review over the next week and come prepared next week. Thank you.
Dayvin Hallmon ~ Feb 22nd 2008 LGBT Midwest Conference. See Dayvin for more information
Dr. Steve ~ Point of clarification- The role of the Senate is to elect a SUFAC committee to allocate the funds as they see fit. SUFAC has painstakingly created this budget and it is now the Senate’s responsibility to Pass or Reject the budget as it is, not to further debate it.
