Area of Expertise: Ms. Eddy teaches a variety of introductory courses in computer science, including: Productivity Tools, Introduction to Programming, and Computer Science 1 and 2. Before becoming a teacher, she worked for eight years in hospital information systems, specializing in medical records, nursing information, pharmacy, surgery and dietary systems.
Professional Activities: Ms. Eddy has published several papers in computer science education in such prestigious venues as SIGCSE and the Journal of Computer Science Education. She maintains an active membership in the Association for Computing Machinery.
