Trudy Biehn serves as Senior Academic Advisor for the College of Business, Economics, and Computing and is responsible for academic advising of undergraduate intended and declared business, economics and computer science majors.
Ms. Biehn brings her experience of academic advising including transfer and degree completion knowledge from formerly serving as Coordinator of Student Evaluation Services in the Registrar’s office and as Academic Advisor and Assistant to the Director for Teacher Education. Ms. Biehn joined UW-Parkside in 1988 and where she began as a Program Assistant for the Chancellor and the Office of Equity and Diversity.
Trudy earned her Master of Science degree in Administration Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Human Resources from UW-Parkside (1999). She is also a Leadership Kenosha 2009 Graduate. In Fall of 2010, she received the the UW-Parkside 2009-10 Academic Advisor of the Year Award. She is a member of the Leadership Kenosha Marketing Committee, Westosha Central High School Business Department Advisory Board, Wilmot High School Business Partners, the Wisconsin Academic Advising Association, National Academic Advising Association, and UW-Parkside Academic Staff Title Review Committee.
In her spare time, Trudy and her husband are FOCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) counselors who assist couples who are preparing for marriage at St John the Baptist Parish in Paris, Wisconsin.
