Global Education Center

The Global Education Center (GEC) at the College of Business, Economics, and Computing (CBEC) is dedicated to:

• Globalizing the business curriculum
• Create additional opportunities for student and faculty exchange with foreign universities
• Develop Joint MBA and MS Programs with foreign universities
• Arrange visits by scholars from foreign universities
• Arrange travel study courses
  • Two week Study Tour to Italy, June 22 - July 6, 2013, with visits to the Coloseum, Sistine Chapel and the Roman Forum in Rome, a Fiat plant, and exploration of Venice on the waters while learning about manufacturing and renewable sources of energy. You will complete  your trip to sunny Calabria on the southern tip of Italy where you will learn about governmant regulations and experience Italian Culture and language.  Credits for this Study Tour course may also be used toward graduation requirements.  Scholarships are available!  Contact Professor Abey.Kuruvilla@uwp.edu for more information.  
• Recruit foreign students
• Provide international business expertise to southeastern Wisconsin businesses

The GEC serves all the students, faculty, staff, and businesses in southeastern Wisconsin. GEC is responsible for coordinating CBEC's international activities as well as providing the greatest amount of opportunities available to their students.
