A typical day for me consists of a lot of time online. On a good day its teaching and on a bad day I have meetings to attend. I chose this profession because I like being in school. I got started teaching originally at Marquette and then decided to come to UW-Parkside because I am from Milwaukee and I wanted to stay in the general area.
Through the next five years, my priorities are mainly to keep offering valuable up-to-date courses that help our students with professional development. I feel I best connect with my students through making class time enjoyable. I also have two teenage daughters, so it helps me to look at things from a younger perspective. I do however have a life outside of teaching where I enjoy working out, doing puzzles, and watching sports. I am a Packers fan. If I could travel to anywhere in the world, I would like to go to Ireland or India.
