My day starts early, I start work at the bank at 7:00am and first, I usually sync my calendar and review all of my emails and return messages. I receive a daily update email of Bankers Online that gives me information on any changes in the industry and current trends.  Then I get to the small business development center depending on what the needs are. At 6:00pm I teach my class, which is two nights a week. I have also been working on coaching the UW-Parkside sales competition team for Georgia recently. I feel I best connect with my students by presenting real life situations with actual experiences along with my personal background.

I’ve always been drawn to numbers and bookkeeping. Out of college, I pursued a music career and moved to California doing the bookkeeping for the group that I was in. I then became seriously interested in finance and banking. In the next five years, I want to have the small business development center grow and be more successful and more visible in the campus community. I think a good way to continue my career is to help grow the job market by helping new entrepreneurs develop business plans.

Outside of working, I like to perform music and golf. I am actually involved in a three part harmony group with two other guys. I also am a Packers fan. Someday, I want to travel to Europe and I’ve already been to Belize, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
