Stephen Hawk, Ph.D.

I am currently teaching Business Programming, Advanced Business Communication, and an MBA course called Website Development.  In a typical day, I do a lot of advising and feel best when I connect with students through one on one advising.  I also enjoy connecting with students in my classes by doing in-depth learning and service learning projects.  I also try not to treat the classroom experience as too serious. Professionally, it’s important for me to continue to update what I am doing and improve in the way I teach.  There are always things I can do better! I’ve had a productive career publishing wise, and I’d like to just continue along the lines of what I am already doing.

Outside of teaching, I love traveling. I’ve hit four continents already, but I would really like to someday go to Peru. I also like exercising, bicycling, and going to see concerts and live entertainment.
