What is an internship? An internship is any carefully monitored work or service experience in which students have intentional learning goals and reflect actively on what they are learning throughout the experience.

Why internships? Internships help you apply your education. They allow students to apply the concepts and theories they learn in academic settings to workplace settings. Many students look at internships as a way to confirm their interest in a given field or discipline.
