UW-P Art Club

The UW-Parkside Art Club does many things for the students and for the Art Department itself. Activities include meetings, bake sales, art raffles, window painting, field trips, Halloween, scholarships, Annual Student Art Show and various campus events. Every year, Art Club holds the Annual Student Art Show. This show can be entered by any UW-P student who was or is in an art-related class. There is a small entry fee and work is selected by a juror. This is a great opportunity for students to learn the reality of entering into shows. The show is then exhibited in the Comm-Arts Gallery for about a month. In the past, Art Club has raised a lot of money through fund raisers such as Bake Sales and Raffles. With this money, we began to donate to the Art Department Scholarship fund. These scholarships can be tried for by any continuing major.
