Policies: Portfolio Review

Portfolio reviews are required for acceptance into a concentration. The only exception is receiving an "A" in all the of the core art courses in addtion to the first 200 level course in their chosen concentration.The Portfolio Review falls in October in the fall semster and February in the spring semester. The student must submit their works at the Portfolio Review the first semester after they have completed the reqiuired courses as stated above. Failure to successfully complete a portfolio review may jeopardize a student's ability to register for 400 level classes. An art student cannot graduate with a concentration without completing the portfolio review.
Portfolio Review Requirements
2 pieces from each of the following courses:
ART 102 - Intro to 2D Design (2 pieces)
ART 103 - Intro to 3D Design (2 pieces)
ART 122 - Intro to Drawing (2 pieces)
ART 2XX - Intro to student's chosen concentration (3 pieces)
Examples: Intro to Animation, Intro to Ceramics, Intro to Graphic Design, Intro to Illustration, Intro to Life Drawing, Intro to Printmaking, Intro to Painting, Intro to Sculpture.
