Arts Management Certificate
The Certificate in Arts Management is designed both for people already working in the field to sharpen their skills and for people interested in breaking into the field. Through community-based projects for local arts groups, readings, case studies, class discussion and field trips students will explore trends in the field as well as learn management skills relevant to arts organizations and businesses. Though there is an internship requirement for the program, it can be waived for people currently working in the field.

ACCT 201 Financial Accounting (3 credits)
MGT 349 Organizational Behavior (3 credits)
ARMA 346 Managing Arts and Cultural Organizations (3 credits)
ARMA 347 Studies in Arts Marketing (2 credits)
ARMA 495 Issues in Arts Management Seminar (2 credits)
*ARMA 494 Arts Management Internship (3 credits)
* May be waived if the student is currently employed in an arts organization.
