The College of Arts and Sciences at UW-Parkside consists of more than twenty diverse departments representing the fine arts, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, and health sciences. The College also offers a number of innovative interdisciplinary programs in the areas of ethnic studies, humanities, sustainability management, women's and gender studies, academic and civic honors, interdisciplinary studies, and international studies which prepares students for lives and careers in the 21st century.
Faculty and staff in the College complement classroom instruction with several co-curricular activities that are designed to deepen and broaden students' academic experiences and to ensure that they have a solid platform for success. These co-curricular activities include undergraduate research opportunities, internships and apprenticeships, art exhibitions, theatrical productions, musical performances, foreign film presentations, student academic clubs, honor societies, and service learning in the community.
