BIOS Club

BIOS ClubBiology Club welcomes all Parkside students to participate and attend meetings even if you do not have a declared major or minor in Biology. The club meets bi-weekly on Mondays at noon in room GRN D143. The club's mission is to help educate students of various current issues as well as career fields that relate to Biology. Club meetings give students the opportunity to network with other students, Parkside faculty, and professionals currently working in the field.

The organization does fundraising and volunteer activities throughout the entire school year. The volunteer opportunities that are presented to the club are aimed to help students build experience and knowledge in a diverse range of topics regarding plants, animals, and the environment. All fundraising proceeds go toward an end of the year trip the club takes to any destination the members agree upon. Some end of the year trips have included white water rafting, zip lining, rock climbing, guided cave explorations, and overnight camping trips. New suggestions are always welcome!

Biology Club is a great way to get involved at UW-Parkside outside of the classroom. We hope you come and see what the club is all about! Check us out on Facebook, search: UW-Parkside Biology Club.
