MAMB photosAt the Master level, we expect our graduates to have the ability to form testable hypotheses, design and execute experiments to answer biological questions. To reach this objective, each course taken toward the M.S in MAMB at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside will emphasize one or more of the following four learning objectives:

Obtain new knowledge: Pose testable hypotheses to solve a biological question; skillful in performing experiments to support or disprove a hypothesis.
Proficiency in writing: Adept in writing and summarizing new scientific discovery.
Access and interpret scientific literature: Capable of interpreting published scientific literature
Present and analyze scientific data: Competently analyze scientific data and effectively communicate scientific information.
Scientific integrity and ethical reasoning. Recognize and understand ethical issues related to science.  Act with integrity in performing scientific research.
