Trudy Biehn serves as Academic Advisor for the School of Business and Technology and is responsible for academic advising of undergraduate intended and declared business and computer science majors.
Ms. Biehn brings her experience of academic advising including transfer and degree completion knowledge from formerly serving as Coordinator of Student Evaluation Services in the Registrar’s office and as Academic Advisor and Assistant to the Director for Teacher Education. Ms. Biehn joined UW-Parkside in 1988 and where she began as a Program Assistant for the Chancellor and the Office of Equity and Diversity.
Trudy earned her Master of Science degree in Administration Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Human Resources from UW-Parkside (1999). She is a member of the Wisconsin Academic Advising Association, National Academic Advising Association, American Association of University Women, and serves as a board member for First Books, an international non-profit organization that provides books to children of low-income families.
In her spare time, Trudy and her husband are FOCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) counselors who assist couples who are preparing for marriage at St John the Baptist Parish in Paris, Wisconsin.
