The Human Resource Management (HRM) concentration is designed for business students who wish to recruit, interview, hire or train employees. The specific courses in human resource management provide students with a solid knowledge base and the strong quantitative skills necessary for a successful career in the HRM profession.
What is Human Resource Management?
Students in the major study how to develop HRM systems to support an organization's
overall strategy. This requires that the student has learned precise
skills in order to be successful; and these skills are continually emphasized
through both course material and internships/externships taught by our
outstanding faculty.

The dynamic field of HRM provides students with various job opportunities
within the field.
Academic
Requirements of HRM Concentration
The concentration consists of 15 credits beyond the business fundamental
and core courses required by all business majors.
Accreditation
The UW-Parkside College of Business, Economics, and Computing is an AACSB (The Association
to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited business school as
well as the only AACSB International accredited business program based
in Kenosha, Racine, and Lake (IL) counties.
