Ranger Choice Card Information

The Ranger Choice Card is University of Wisconsin-Parkside's refund card. It can only be used as a debit card. Campus Cash and Meal Plans with be on the new Ranger ID Card.

Obtaining a Ranger Choice Card:

The Ranger choice Card will be mailed to all new students. Students will have to activate the card to choose a refund preference. The two options are: ACH to bank account or open a HigherOne account. If the HigherOne account option is chosen, any refunds will go to the Ranger Choice Card and will be the student's debit card and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. If the ACH to bank account is chosen, then any refunds will go to the bank account the student has provided when activating the Ranger Choice Card.

Continuing students who are using the Higher One account can continue to use their old Ranger One Card as their debit card. If they need a replacement, the new Ranger Choice Card will be sent to the student.

If a student loses their Ranger Choice Card, a replacement card can be ordered at a cost of $25.00 and the student should receive the new card within 5-7 business days. Replacement cards can be ordered online or in person at the Cashier's Office or Cocierge Desk. The charge for the replacement card will be added to the student's SOLAR account. The fee will be due 10 days from the date of purchase.
