STUDENTS RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID AWARDS MAY RECEIVE REFUNDS THAT VARY FROM THE ABOVE PUBLISHED PERCENTAGES.

Per Federal Regulations

Financial aid awards are based on the enrollment of the student.  If a student withdraws from all courses before completing the 60% point in the semester, the student may be required to repay some or all financial aid received for that semester.  The student will be eligible to keep only the amounts dictated by a Federal formula, and he/she will be required to pay both the Federal programs and UW-Parkside for any amounts received for which he/she was not eligible.  All financial aid students are encouraged to make an appointment with the Financial Aid Office before withdrawing from classes in order to understand the effects of the withdrawal.  Financial aid may be adjusted/reduced if a student drops credits during the 100% refund period and then again if the student withdraws prior to completing 60% of the semester.  Please call the Financial Aid Office at  (262) 595-2574 if you have questions about this policy.  This calculation is in addition to any tuition refund calculations.
