Summer 2010: Space Camp Exploration for 6th thru 12th Grade Students
July 19-23, 2010
Commuter Fee: $259; Resident Fee: $549
Space Camp participants will take part in a variety of training sessions, meet research scientists and aerospace professionals, conduct space science experiments, participate in space flight simulations, and much more during this exhilarating, week-long program at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Space Camp “cadets” will have the opportunity to design, build, and test their own space mission, including working with rockets, heat shields and recovery systems. In addition, cadets will be trained to use a solar telescope, navigate using the space-based Global Positioning System (GPS), receive astronaut training, and much more.
