The Center for Community Partnerships (CCP) can provide these services to support community based learning
Find a community partner
- Find a community partner whose needs match the learning objectives of your course
- Arrange for a community partner to come to class, etc.
Project Management
- Contracts between instructor, student, community partner
- Training/orientation for students—what is expected of them
- Timesheets for students
- Student group contract agreement
- Keep track of contracted schedule/deadlines
- Conflict resolution
Referrals
- If you need someone else's expertise, we can try to refer you to someone. (carpentry, business management, transcription, etc. )
Motivate your students.
A student or VISTA member can come to your class and talk about the benefits of being in a CBL class;

Clerical

Funding
We have a small budget, but if you need money for things like food for a conference, materials for a project, or transportation, ask, and we can see what's possible.
