Chiwaukee Academy
When you attend Chiwaukee Academy, you will become the student and the University of Wisconsin - Parkside will become your classroom.
K-12 teachers in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois are invited to participate in Chiwaukee Academy, held on the UW-Parkside campus each summer. Chiwaukee Academy was founded in 1998 and is one of nine Academies held around the state during summer. Careful attention is given to standards and benchmarks, equity, diversity, and assessment in all courses. The newest theories will be discussed and ideas about how to move them into practice will be shared by experienced faculty and educator presenters.
Expenses
Registration and application fees may be paid with district ESEA Title II A, School-to-Work, Gifted and Talented, or Special Education Funds. Policies vary from district to district and/or grant to grant.
