Every day mentoring helps the youth in our communities -- people stay in school, stay off drugs and stay connected.  Mentoring works. Recent studies show that 14.6 million young people would benefit from a mentor and a 2005 poll found that 44 million adults said they would seriously consider mentoring. Similarly, many adults and whole families benefit from relationships with mentors.

In Kenosha and Racine Counties, close to 25 mentoring programs strive to serve the community’s needs. These programs need help with development and training mentors and staff members. Most of all, they need more mentors.

A Collaborative Solution

Mentor Kenosha & Racine has been created to address these needs. Our mission is to build social capital by fostering meaningful mentoring relationships among individuals in Racine and Kenosha Counties.

Whether you are a community member, mentor, mentor program leader or business leader, there’s a role for you to play in this exciting initiative. Your participation is the key to our collective success. Together, we can build a thriving mentoring community.
