Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Small Business Development Center (SBDC). At the SBDC, our counselors work with the small to medium sized businesses of Racine and Kenosha counties, offering services and information that is needed for success. We provide both classes and counseling services to new and existing businesses.

Many businesses have been successfully launched or improved with the help of the SBDC and our partners. Working with the SBDC can help you develop a successful business plan that can be used as a guide for running your business. Our reference materials provide information in many areas of business, including business basics and marketing.

Manufacturing Renewal Grant

The SBDC is now taking applications for the Manufacturing Renewal Grant.  Qualifiers can receive up to $2,500 for help with their business.  For more information, download the application.

Minority Owned Business Matching Grant Program

New this year is the Minority Owned Business Matching Grant Program.  Works very similar to the Manufacturing Renewal Grant Program.  For more information, download the application.
