Computer Science makes this and more possible.
Computers are in the coffee makers, or soda machines which get you going in the morning. They control the cars you drive, power iPods, and enable the transmission of text messages. They are the major components in cell phones and allow the IMs society can no longer live without.
Computers are essential to healthcare, law enforcement, criminal justice, business, theater, and every other occupation in one form or another.
