Two-week study abroad to Wolfenbuettel Germany, May 21–June 1, 2012

The Computer Science Departments at UW-Parkside and Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences are jointly organizing a two week study abroad in Wolfenbuettel Germany, May 21–June 1, 2012. During your stay in Wolfenbuettel you will study German and German culture, as well as study information security topics. You will visit the Duke August Library (home to one of the best collections of 16 century books in the world), Wolfsburg Autostadt and the Volkswagen factory, Berlin, Braunschweig and hike in the Harz Mountains.

CSCI 490 International Computing Experience (3 credits)

• Lectures in security and related topics, German and German culture
• Visit Wolfsburg Autostadt, Volkswagen, Berlin, and the Harz Mountains

Approximate Cost: (400 E) $580 + UWP Tuition and Fees + Airfare

Application Process:

1. Pick up study abroad application at Center for International Studies office Grnq L210.
2. Check financial aid eligibility with Financial Aid Office.
3. If eligible, apply for Study Abroad financial aid through Center for International Studies - CIS.
4. Arrange pre-approval for transfer credit to your major/minor.
5. Complete and submit applications early to assure participation.
