The Environmental Studies Program at UW-Parkside:
As an interdisciplinary minor, Environmental Studies is designed for students who have a strong interest in environmental issues. It develops an appreciation for the scope of environmental problems and the consequences of various solutions. With linkages to majors in biology, chemistry, geology, economics, geography, history, political science, English, or communications, an environmental studies minor prepares students for a great variety of careers, such as wildlife conservation, science teaching, environmental monitoring, environmental law, government policy, and writing or broadcasting on environmental issues.
