Position Announcements and Ads

The position announcement and position ad must be included with the Position Authorization Request (PAR) forms.

As part of the PAR process the appropriate Dean, Vice Chancellor and the Office of Equity & Diversity MUST first approve all position ads and/or announcements before being placed.

The position ad is brief, of a generic nature and would appear in newspaper or discipline advertisement.

The position announcement should contain a more detailed description of the available position and therefore cost prohibited and inefficient as newspaper or discipline advertisement. Once the announcement has been approved it may be e-mailed to list serves, sent via U.S. Postal Service, or used as a flyer at conferences / recruitment fairs.
