Minimum Credits needed for fall/spring/summer aid eligibility
To be eligible to receive most forms of financial aid (federal and state grants, scholarships, loans and work study) students must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program AND meet the following enrollment levels each semester:
Undergraduate Students – at least six (6) credits
Graduate Students – at least four (4) credits
Students who are registered for less than the stated minimum, in most cases, would have only one financial aid option- that of receiving an alternative loan through a private lender.
