Applying for a Parent PLUS Loan on-line

In order to apply for and receive a Federal Parent PLUS loan for your son or daughter at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, you must be able to answer yes to the following statements:

  1. Your son or daughter has been admitted to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
  2. Your son or daughter has applied for federal financial aid through the FAFSA form, it has been processed, and UW-Parkside has received the results.
  3. Your son's or daughter’s financial aid application has been reviewed by the UW-Parkside Financial Aid Office and a financial aid award notification has been sent to you.
  4. Your son or daughter has been awarded a federal Parent PLUS loan.

    5. *If a financial aid award notification has been received and no Parent PLUS loan is listed on the award notification, please contact the UW-Parkside Financial Aid Office at (262) 595-2574.

  5. You understand that if your Parent Plus loan application is approved, the proceeds will be disbursed to your son's or daughter’s account at UW-Parkside.
  6. You have the UW-Parkside school code (00501500) to help give you access to the on-line Parent PLUS loan web site.
