Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certificate Program

REQUIREMENTS (12 credits)

Required Courses:

• GEOG 250 Map Use and Analysis (3 credits, Fall)
• GEOG 350 Cartography and GIS (3 credits, Spring)
• GEOG 460 Introduction to GIS Analysis (3 credits, Fall)

Plus one of the following:

• GEOG 465 Advanced GIS Applications (3 credits, Spring)
• GEOG 455 Remote Sensing (3 credits)
• GEOG 494 Special Topics (on a GIS topic) (3 credits)

Students must maintain a 2.25 GPA in all GIS Certificate classes
