Charge
The Affirmative Action Council (AAC) is a University committee appointed by the Chancellor to review search and screen policies and practices, discrimination and harassment concern and complaint procedures, and any University policies and practices which directly affect AA/EEO. In addition, the council will review and monitor goals established for the University's State and Federal Affirmative Action plans.
Membership
Members of the AAC are appointed by the Chancellor for three and four-year terms, and include faculty, staff, and students. Meetings are held 2-5 times per semester. The AAC consists of six faculty members and 6 staff and/or administrative members. The Director of Human Resources, the Senior Diversity Officer, and the Senior Equal Opportunity Specialist serve as ex-officio members on the Council. The Chairperson of the AAC is a tenured faculty member appointed by the Chancellor for a four-year term. Members may be reappointed.

The Campus 504/ADA Committee is a University committee appointed by the Chancellor to provide information and recommendations responsive to the needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities. In addition, members ensure that the University of Wisconsin-Parkside is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Membership
The committee consists of six faculty and/or staff members and (2) students. Members of the committee are appointed by the Chancellor for three -year terms (Chairs are appointed for four-year terms), and include faculty, staff, and students. Meetings are held 2-5 times per semester. Members may be reappointed.
