2. Minutes of November 10, 2005 were approved.
Follow-up on the minutes:
John Desch, Campus Planner was invited to the meeting but was unable to attend. He will be invited to a future meeting.
Steve Carlson investigated the possibility of including a check-off list of ergonomic requirements in the ADA job format. It is too complicated to be worth doing. Linda Busha said those with questions about ergonomic requirements are welcome to call Human Resources.
3. Summer Road/Parking Lot Construction
Chief Marzion explained that the Communication Arts parking lot and Inner Loop Road will be under construction from the end of May until classes start in the fall.
There was some brainstorming done on ways to facilitate movement about campus both for those with disabilities and those without. It was decided that further input will be requested from campus members.
4. Next year
The ADA Coordinator position is being moved to Human Resources.
5. Other issues?
Steve Carlson requested that the chair investigate an issue with the Molinaro third floor women’s restroom.
Renee’ Sartin Kirby discussed her involvement with universal design. She will keep the committee informed.
Cheryl Gundersen notified the committee that JJR Consultants will be bringing a draft of the master plan to campus this month.
