Campus Raffles
Policy #34

34.01 Background

UW-Parkside student organizations, academic departments and internal groups are permitted to support programs through mission-related activities including raffles.

34.02 Raffle Licenses

All raffles must be conducted according to Chapter 563 of the Wisconsin Statutes and GAME 44 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.

34.02.01 The following units will hold raffle licenses and will develop procedures for processing license use requests:

• Provost Office – on behalf of academic departments
• Student Activities – on behalf of university recognized student organizations
• Dean of Students – on behalf of non-academic units
• University Advancement – on behalf of other recognized organizations: an entity that is not an administrative or academic unit but is directly related to the mission of the institution (e.g. Alumni Association, Parkside 200, Booster Club, UW-P Foundation Board, Governance groups).

34.03 Policy Review

The Student Activities office will initiate an annual review. Recommendations for changes will be forwarded to the Chancellors Cabinet for approval no later than March 1^st.
