Emergency Capital Purchases (102) Policy

The fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Requests for additional departmental capital funds (102) are submitted by October 15 of each year. In the event that a capital item needs to be purchased on an emergency basis before then, and it is to be funded from the university-wide capital account (not funded by the department requesting the item), the request for emergency purchase needs the Chancellor's Cabinet's approval before it may be purchased.
